Description

The wrist tool lanyard (Spiral) velcro fastening provides superior user mobility, and is ideal for single tool applications.  Special design features include, single hand operation to fit and adjust, safety release expansion link which prevents de-gloving in an accident.  Reach and coil retraction, minimises snagging and tripping associated hazards.  Reinforced coil design dampens impact force generated from a dropped tool, reducing wrist loading related stress problems.  All Leading Edge wrist lanyards have a unique safety release expansion joint, preventing de-gloving in an accident.  The design makes it possible for the wrist strap to come free in an emergency releasing the hand from becoming drawn into potential hazards should their tool/lanyard become caught up, as an example in rotating machinery.  The expansion joint is available in two options i.e. full expansion and a half expansion joint.

• This wrist lanyard is fitted with a very secure rated Velcro fastening system,
  allowing faster adjustment and is simpler to put-on and take-off when using
  multiple pre-tethered tools.
• The wrist tool lanyards are available in a choice of two safety release
  expansion joint configurations to suit both application and risk of exposure
  to de-gloving in an accident. 
• The expansion joint also provides additional user wearing comfort and flexibility 
• The (Full) expansion joint option is a 8cm link that expands to 17cms
  (112% stretch) suitable for tools up to 2kgs and where this is a risk of lanyard
  being caught in rotating machinery. The full expansion joint allows the hand to
  be pulled free very quickly
• The (Half) expansion joint option is a 5cm link that expands to 9cms (80% stretch)
  suitable for tools up to 5kgs allows hand to be pulled free should the lanyard
  become trapped (not for use with rotating machinery which may require a faster release).
  The half expansion joint has better wear characteristics
• Lanyard length 44cm long and expands to 1.95M (without connectors)
• Wrist lanyard made from premium polyester webbing, industrial grade elastic tape,
  and marine grade buckle, synthetic professional Velcro, finished to a high standard
• Lanyard cable is 7mm in diameter (2.5mm coated steel wire core, encapsulated
  within a protective rubberised synthetic sheath).  Body consists of 20 ‘non-memory’
  coils, reducing expansion fade due to over stretching
• Both ends of the wrist lanyard benefit from a swivel end termination, thus preventing
  twisting and connector failure with intense usage.
• Supplied with a 37mm diameter stainless steel ring (4mm bar) allowing direct tool
  attachment via the use of a connector.  (Ring provides maximum connector selection /
