Description

The Leading Edge (Tool Chuck) has been uniquely developed to provide a retro-fit tethering solution for small tool items. The tool chuck overcomes
traditional difficulty in securing small diameter tools, leading to the unnecessary replacement with expensive specially modified products. The design allows simple and quick self-fitting, the shaft of the tool is located within the barrel of the chuck and held in place with a retaining grub screw.

  • Retro fitting solution for small diameter items i.e.
    Screwdrivers/ Allen Keys/ Punches/ Pen
    Torches/ Files and many more hand tools and objects.
  • Swivelling tether point (rotating plate) prevents lanyard twist and snagging.
  • Simple and quick self-fitting (by way of retaining grub screw).
  • Choice of 7 models to suit most shank arrangements between 3 to 26mm diameters.
  • Chucks are available separately or sold as a boxed set
    (small through to large diameter models).
  • Dynamic drop test ratings between 1kgs and 3kgs
    (model dependent).
  • Individually serialised c/w size and rating (laser etched) for clear
    inspection and easy control.
  • Configured to allow ‘Safety Tool Lanyard’ attachment via a connector to
    the swivelling point.
  • Chucks are additionally supplied with: 1x spare grub screw, 1x appropriately
    sized Allen key.
  • Made from mild steel (EN1A) specially selected for its optimum strength to size ratio.
  • Design, tested and manufactured in the UK for superior finish and quality control.
